Activities and Services available at Walsall Deaf People's Centre
- Licensed Bar & Social Club - Our fully functional bar is open 6 nights a week from 7.30pm - 11pm.
- Senior Citizens Club & Activities - The group meet every Monday from 11am in the main hall.
- A Range of Social & Recreational Activities - A variety of seasonal and one off events for example - Grand Bingo.
- British Sign Language (BSL) Programmes & Accreditations - BSL Level One, Two & Three.
- Customised Deaf Awareness Training - (Please refer to Deaf Awareness section).
- Deaf/Blind Communication Training - (Please refer to Deaf Awareness section).
- Advice and Information Services - Deafness and Hearing Loss.
- Communication Support - BSL/English Interpreters, Deafblind Interpreters, Notetakers, Speech-to-Text Reporters, Lipspeakers.
- Tutor Training - Providing professional and personal development for all tutors.
- Room Hire Facilities - (Please refer to Room Hire Facilities section).
- Family Group - A activity and support group for parents with Deaf children or Deaf parents with hearing children - One Saturday a month.
